Evershine is more of a mixture of projects than a band- a sound machine with a revolving door for lead singers - but in a good way. Singers join and contribute as much or as little as fits the songs, depending on how their voice fits the genre- which can range from folk to rock to symphonic arrangements….

One EP is set in the pop rock genre while another is a metal cover EP. Still others are acoustic tracks, alt rock, or jazz tunes.

Rockville , Maryland is home to this quintet who lives to write music with no limits, no boundaries. Their currently available demo is more in the hard rock/metal genre, as is more than ½ their material- however it is not uncommon to find tracks on their upcoming albums that span the range of styles to include hip-hop, folk, pop, jazz, and techno-metal.

The DC-based trio of hip-hop and rock; their sound is worlds apart from the standard radio formula, being led by 2 different rappers. Not content to just sample, they write most of their tunes from scratch and when they do sample, they will create new life from an old rhythm to push the boundaries far from the original. Their demo consists of both samples and original hooks though their upcoming full LP – 57 Octaves Below Middle C- is predominantly all original material.

Darnestown , Md. is home to Fear Is Not Faith. A straight ahead metal band determined to have metal return to the substance of yesterdays gone. Musically blending styles from bands like Queensryche, Iron Maiden, and the Scorpions (pre-1984) , FINF looks to build on their complexity in arrangements but still retain their powerful vocal delivery. Not looking to sound ‘dated', they mix aggressive sounding instrumentation along the lines of Disturbed, Korn, and Ra to give their final sound a modern edge, though deeply rooted in the foundations of metal.
